Christmas 2011

We started our morning with our traditional Cereal in our room, the kids love this and like to eat the cereal straight from the little box. We then ventured into our living room, which was very full of fun presents. Kate found pringles from Santa and sat down and ate for the next 45 minutes, eventually branching out and eating taffy from Santa as well. Addie loved the pillow pets and all the other girly items. Canon loved all the legos he got and everything else. We gave and got so much stuff, we had a fabulous morning. We spent the morning enjoying our new things then headed over to sacrament meeting followed by a visit to Grandma and Grandpa Cox.
The day after Christmas was spent relaxing and enjoying family time! Merry Christmas.

Christmas Eve 2011

We spent Christmas Eve together as a family. We started out the night doing a puzzle and some games. For dinner we tried fondue and we think we might have started a new family tradition, it was so good! The kids opened their new pajamas, then we got all snuggled up to watch our family slide show that brad put together. It is always so fun to see the things we have done throughout the year. Canon had lost a tooth earlier in the day, so he was waiting for Santa and the Tooth Fairy! I love my family.

Christmas Time

We love Christmas time! We went to the Festival of Trees, made gingerbread houses, watched some classic Christmas movies, partied and enjoyed time with family.

Addie’s Dance Recital

Addie has been loving her dance class, both because she loves dancing and because she goes with one of her best friends. She has practiced so well and has even taught much of the dance to Kate. I was not sure if she would do the dance up on the stage, but she did great and had no problems, good job Addie!

Thanksgiving Human Race 5k

We asked Canon and Addie if they thought doing a race together as a family would be fun, and they got really excited. We decided that the Thanksgiving day race would be the race, and we got busy training. After training for a few weeks, I must say that my kids are amazing! They were doing better than me and they are 6 and 4, Go kids! The day came and we donned our race shirts and went out to have fun. We ran into Dan, Katy and Berlin and had a great time chatting with them and running the first bit with them. We ran most of the way, Kate melted down, and Addie had a hard time at the end, but we all finished and we are proud of our accomplishment!

Thanksgiving

The Goldman and Britton families were in town, so for Thanksgiving we had everyone together! We had lots of fun hanging out and the kids loved having so many cousins to play with. We ate amazing food and later got together for family pictures. Brad even decided to take his shirt off for one of the poses!
